I have more than 20 years experience in care work,14 with Live in Caring. I am mature mother of three grownups. I am calm, patient,caring,I empathise and have sympathy. Iam honesty and trustworthy.I
promote independence. It means we take time to do things. You have time to do what you can still do. You will not be hurried. I plan ahead and that helps. I am atidy person so your home is in good hands. It also means we keep infections away as much as possible. I am reliable, I am dependable and responsible. I communicate well in english and that helps not just us, but family and reaching out to other teams if we need help. I am very observant so will seek help quickly as I will notice changes in your presentation as soon as they show up. I am trained in using most modern equipment should they be needed. I can use hoists in their different forms.I can manage catheters. I have experience with personal care, pad changing, washing,showering and mouth care. I am trained to help with medication management, moving and handling, dementia awareness, I have Spinal Injury experience, I have worked with stoma bags, and food hygiene. That takes us to the kitchen, while I am not a trained chef, I cook well. I can make pies, stews and general traditional meals. I am also interested in learning so I can experiment with new things, I can follow recipes.
I have worked with people living with diabetes, the partially blind and many other conditions I have not named. I have a good personality which has made me friends and part of families years after their loved ones were gone. You do not want to miss working with me.
